- A new feature was introduced in the Free version, for all users: Burn Audio CD. This feature will let users burn their own audio CD-R and CD-RW discs from a variety of audio formats: Wav, MP3, Vorbis, WMA and FLAC. Users can easily drag and drop the files they want to burn and even select the write speed for the CD. FreeRIP uses Windows burning engine (IMAPI) for this new feature.
- The user interface was improved to make it more intuitive.
